Cornell University Resources

Cornell University Financial Aid - 255-5145, finaid@cornell.edu
Your success as a Cornellian is important to us. The Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment is happy to work with undergraduate students with children.  Regardless of whether you are a new or returning student, we are committed to working closely with you and your family. We can provide assistance (usually in the form of loan) for child care expenses, and we are available to assist you as you finance your education.  We can make adjustments to financial aid awards to fit the actual educational expenses that students have. We invite you to review the information on our web site, and also call or e-mail our office if you have additional questions. We look forward to being of assistance to you and your family, now and throughout your student career.

Cornell Child Care Grant Program
Cornell recognizes the high cost of quality child care can be a substantial burden to students that are raising children. The university has committed to helping students keep their children in quality care by subsidizing its cost through the Cornell University Student Child Care Subsidy Program.

Dump and Run
Dump & Run is a program that collects items students might otherwise throw away when leaving campus in May. All collected items are sorted and organized over the summer, then resold at a large sale when students return in August. Proceeds of the Dump & Run sale are donated to local nonprofit organizations. Please visit the website for the next sale dates.
