Gannett serves as the primary-care provider for all students and their spouses/
partners. Whether you are seeking to maintain, maximize, or regain your health,
you can rely on Gannett. Gannett staff members offer accredited medical, mental
health, and health promotion services. The on-campus facility also offers
laboratory, x-ray, and pharmacy services. Such services allow Gannett to provide
individualized care for illnesses and injuries, and to promote health and
wellness with the Cornell community.
Students who need specialty or urgent care (for themselves or for their dependents) can call Gannett to obtain referrals to community practitioners or other private health-care facilities. Urgent health concerns can be addressed via phone consultation with a Gannett health care provider any time day or night at the listed number.

Cornell Lactation Program - 255-5298
In support of the institution's life-quality initiatives for working and studying families, the university recognizes and respects the need to accommodate lactating mothers who choose to express breast milk while at Cornell University. As a part of the Lactation Program, a 3-part series on breastfeeding is offered twice per year and spaces are designated across the campus for pumping/expressing milk.
Cornell Fitness Centers - 254-2824
Pre-Natal Yoga classes are offered through the Cornell Fitness Centers. Alleviate discomforts of pregnancy, while gaining strength and flexibility in a safe and dynamic way. With gentle stretching, conscious use of breath, deep relaxation, and mindfulness techniques, women can enhance the quality of their pregnancy, prepare for an empowered birth process, and learn useful skills for life. No prior experience of yoga is necessary. Others not in the birth continuum are also welcome to join this class.

Provides numerous programs and services for Tompkins County residents, including:

Free pregnancy testing and prenatal care assistance is offered to income eligible women.

WIC ( Women, Infant and Children) - 274-6630
Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. Provides nutritious foods, nutrition education, and referrals to community services for low income pregnant and post-partum women and their children under five years of age. Breastfeeding support is available.
Well Child Clinics - 274-6622
Offers full health care for you until at least two months after delivery of your child and health care for your baby for at least one year after birth.

Routine childhood immunizations offered free for ages 6 weeks to 18 years
Cayuga Medical Center - 274-4011
Offers a variety of services such as the Cayuga Center for Healthy Living, Emergency Care, Laboratories, and Maternity and Pediatrics, among others.
Ithaca Free Clinic - 330-1253
Ithaca Free Clinic provides 100% free conventional and holistic medicine services for our visitors. Anyone who does not have health insurance is welcome to come to the free clinic to receive care. If you have insurance which does not cover holistic/alternative medicine, and cannot afford these services, you can receive these services at IFC.
Convenient Care Center - 274-4150
Offers urgent health care without an appointment. Scheduled outpatient services are provided, including radiology, MRI, and physical therapy.
La Leche League of Tompkins County
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are invited to come to the meetings or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Pregnant women are especially welcome. Children and babies are always welcome at the meetings.
